RESCENE Just Won Four Awards at KGMA 2026, Including Grand Honors’ Choice. Their CEO: “I Never Once Thought They’d Fail”

RESCENE won Grand Honors’ Choice at the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) on November 7, 2026, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, sharing the Day 1 grand prize with AND2BLE. They also took Best Artist, Best Memory and the Veriz Global Fan Choice award, for four trophies in one night. Their producer, The Muze Entertainment CEO Lee Ju-heon, won Best Producer (Ilgan Sports; Edaily, Nov. 7, 2026). “We know how precious every single one of these awards is,” the members said. “We know the love you’re giving us right now is more than we deserve. We’ll always be a RESCENE that keeps growing” (Ilgan Sports, Nov. 7, 2026).

I’ll be honest: as a fan, this one got me right in the chest. A five-member girl group that debuted in March 2024 stood in a dome on the same stage as Young K and TREASURE and took home a grand prize, and their own member Woni was the one holding the MC mic.

“With,” the title track of the fourth mini album PULSE: 18.1 million views in its first four days (as of Nov. 7, 2026). Official KGMA award clips weren’t up on ENA’s or Ilgan Sports’ channels at the time of writing.

What happened at Gocheok

• Four trophies. Grand Honors’ Choice, Best Artist, Best Memory and Veriz Global Fan Choice (Edaily, Nov. 7, 2026). Composer Kim Hyung-seok and KARA’s Park Gyu-ri presented the grand prize (Ilgan Sports).
• What Grand Honors’ Choice means. KGMA gives it to artists who achieved something remarkable that year (Edaily). Ilgan Sports, which founded the awards in 2024, hosts the show. Chart data comes from Hanteo, Genie, FLO and Bugs, and fans vote on the Kugoong app. ENA aired it live (Edaily).
• Woni, the MC. She co-hosted Artist Day with actress Nam Ji-hyun. She also performed a solo cover of BoA’s “Atlantis Princess,” one of the special stages you could only see at KGMA (Edaily; Ilgan Sports).
• The stage. RESCENE performed “Inside Out” (“Baekhwayoran”) with a bold, flashy performance and “With” with their signature fresh energy (Ilgan Sports, Nov. 7, 2026).
• Who else won. Young K won Grand Artist and five trophies in total, TREASURE won Grand Song and three other awards, and AND2BLE shared Grand Honors’ Choice (Edaily).

The CEO’s speech

The second-best moment of RESCENE’s night didn’t come from the members. Lee Ju-heon, collecting Best Producer, said: “I never once thought RESCENE would fail, because I believed in the members’ potential. A lot of people recognized that potential. This achievement isn’t mine alone. It belongs to everyone who helped” (Edaily, Nov. 7, 2026). The members, for their part, promised to keep learning from the people around them “so the five of us can get through any problem together” (Ilgan Sports).

The most-watched moment of the week

Before Gocheok, RESCENE brought “Inside Out” to MBC’s Show! Music Core on the afternoon of November 7. It’s one of the two songs they performed at KGMA that night, and the stage video’s view count passed 460,000 within hours (as of Nov. 7, 2026).

Why they’re so cool

Because they grew in public. “We know winning an award isn’t something to take for granted,” they said tonight (Edaily). This is a group whose 2024 song had to climb for two years to reach No. 1. In 2026, their new song got there in two hours, and the new album sold more on its first day than the last one did in its first week. And they still talk about it like they can’t quite believe it.

And because of Woni. She hosted a dome-sized awards show on her first try as an MC, then stepped off the host’s podium to perform with her group, then went back to the podium to announce everyone else’s awards. Ilgan Sports put it simply: she moved between the stage and the MC desk all night (Ilgan Sports, Nov. 7, 2026). That’s an adorable amount of energy for one person.
