RESCENE’s ‘With’ Hits No. 1 on Melon Two Hours After Release
RESCENE released their fourth mini album “PULSE” on Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. KST, and the title track “With” reached No. 1 on the Melon TOP100 at 8 p.m., only two hours later, passing A2O LITE’s “NEON.” At midnight “With” was still No. 1, with the B-side “Inside Out” (“백화요란”) right behind at No. 2, and on Melon’s new-release HOT100 all five album tracks (“With,” “Inside Out,” “Finest Thing,” “MEME” and “Dragon”) lined up in the top five. When we checked before dawn, the group had 10 songs on the TOP100 at once, with “With” at No. 6 and “LOVE ATTACK” at No. 4, and the MV had 4,880,726 views. “People call us ‘the miracle of a small agency.’ We know a miracle isn’t easy, so we’re even more grateful,” Woni said at the showcase. A group the internet found through variety clips just proved the songs were the reason all along.
