Reading the BIGBANG news before sunrise, my fan heart did a little somersault. BIGBANG will close their 20th anniversary world tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, A2O LITE won their 10th music show trophy without even being in the studio, and TREASURE gave “SHOCK” its first music show stage and then took it to Gocheok Sky Dome. KGMA’s Artist Day also had wins and stages beyond the big prizes we already reported (Young K finished the night with five trophies). Here are the stories K-pop fans were talking about on Nov. 7.

BIGBANG Will End Their 20th Anniversary Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles
BIGBANG will play SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, near Los Angeles, on March 13, 2027, a one-night show that becomes the final stop of their 20th anniversary world tour “XX : COSMOS,” according to SoFi Stadium and Billboard, as reported by Newsis on Nov. 8. The tour was supposed to end at Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan on Feb. 27 and 28, so the LA date adds about two more weeks. The tour started in Goyang in August. It is the first world tour with G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG as a trio, and their first in nine years, since “Last Dance” in 2017. At MetLife Stadium on Sept. 11, they sang 30 songs in about three hours, including “BiiiG,” their first new song in four years and four months, released on their anniversary, Aug. 19. The Asia leg continues with Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium on Nov. 7 and 8, followed by Hong Kong and Japan. General tickets for SoFi go on sale Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. PT (Nov. 14, 3 a.m. KST) on Ticketmaster. VIPs, it’s time to plan that trip to LA.
