Tame Impala’s “Dracula,” featuring Jennie’s voice, is in its 56th week on the US Billboard Hot 100. On the chart dated October 31, it sits at No. 8, with 22 total weeks in the top 10, extending Jennie’s own record for the longest Hot 100 top-10 run by a K-pop artist (Billboard, Newsis). That same week, it’s No. 1 on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart for a sixth week.
I’ll be honest: every Tuesday when the chart drops, this is the first song I look for. And that I keep finding it near the top a year later still feels, as a fan, almost too good to believe.
The K-pop voice American radio plays every day
In the US, radio is still the last gate that separates “a song everybody hears” from the rest. Fans can push up streaming numbers, but radio keeps playing a song only if it reaches drivers on their commute and shoppers in the grocery store. On the October 31 Radio Songs chart, “Dracula” held No. 1 for a sixth straight week, its 29th week on that chart (Billboard Radio Songs, checked October 30, 2026). This week’s radio audience was 63.2 million impressions (Newsis, citing Billboard data).
That means this song is No. 1 in a place a fandom alone can’t reach. The Hot 100 combines streaming, sales and radio, so a song held up by radio doesn’t fall easily. The genre charts tell the same story: “Dracula” is in its 42nd week at No. 1 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and its 24th week at No. 1 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (Newsis).
How a Tame Impala song became Jennie’s song
“Dracula” first came out in fall 2025 as a solo track by Tame Impala, the Australian psychedelic rock project of Kevin Parker (Korea Times). The twist came this February. A remix featuring Jennie took off on short-form video platforms, and the song started climbing again (Korea Times). Today it appears on the Billboard charts as “Tame Impala & JENNIE.”
It took three months to reach the top 10. “Dracula” first entered the top 10 at No. 10 on the Hot 100 dated May 16, the first Hot 100 top 10 for both Tame Impala and Jennie (Billboard). In June it jumped four spots back to No. 10 (Cineplay), and through summer and fall the weeks in the top 10 kept piling up. Its peak is No. 5 (Billboard).
The official remix lyric video has 53.43 million views and Tame Impala’s original official video 82.98 million (YouTube counts, checked October 30, 2026). The remix video alone has more than 970,000 likes.
Still counting after passing BTS’s 15 weeks with ‘Butter’
The longest Hot 100 top-10 run by a K-pop artist used to be the 15 weeks of BTS’s “Butter.” “Dracula” passed it in mid-September with its 16th week (Herald Business, September 15, 2026). After that the count went up by one nearly every week: 20 weeks by mid-October (Korea Times) and 22 this week (Newsis, Yonhap).
What’s even more striking is the way it hangs on. In mid-October, “Dracula” climbed back up to No. 6 (Korea Times, October 14). In a fall flooded with new releases, a year-old song went up instead of down. The only other K-pop song on that week’s Hot 100 was KATSEYE’s “Animal” at No. 30 (Newsis).
With this song, Jennie reached No. 1 on US radio with her solo voice alone. On October 29, BLACKPINK received the Order of Cultural Merit at Korea’s Popular Culture and Arts Awards in their 10th year (read the story). The same week Korea celebrated their decade, American radio was playing Jennie’s voice at No. 1.
The next Hot 100 comes out in the first week of November. Will it be week 23? I’m waiting for Tuesday again.
Where to listen: “Dracula” (JENNIE Remix) streams on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music (checked October 31, 2026).
